Gateway positions currently available:
Ocean Operations Coordinator
The Ocean Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing ocean freight shipments from origin through final delivery while providing comprehensive customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle. Responsibilities include preparing freight quotes, providing transit times and routing information, coordinating cargo pickup and delivery, issuing status reports, negotiating rates, booking shipments with carriers and NVOCCs, and preparing required shipping documentation in compliance with U.S. laws and regulations. The position also coordinates applicable FMC rate filings, prepares billing information, issues client invoices, and works closely with the Accounting department to ensure accurate and timely shipment processing.
